Ways to Offer Support for Jason

( 1 ) Send letters and/or emails to the Governor of Ohio and demand that Jason be granted clemency.

( 2 ) Send letters to the Ohio Parole Board and demand that Jason be given a meaningful Parole Board re-hearing, and that he be granted a parole. Send letters to:

( 3 ) Send letters and/or emails to elected officials, newspapers, radio stations, activist organizations, progressive websites, et cetera, to voice your opinion about Ohio’s longstanding sentencing disparity and demand that Jason be freed.

( 4 ) Download Jason’s Statement letter to journalism students and his essay, The Cruel and Unusual Punishment of an Ohio “Old-Law” Prisoner, and forward them by way of email or snail mail to journalism schools/students nationwide, as well as abroad.

( 5 ) Support Jason on Facebook, Myspace, Google+, Twitter, and other social networks by posting a brief message about freejasongoudlock.org or by linking to one of Jason’s writings. Forward this to as many friends as you can.

( 6 ) If you’re interested in media, Jason would like all of his writings read and recorded into .mp3 or similar audio files. Send your recordings to info@freejasongoudlock.org when finished.

( 7 ) Purchase and read Jason’s novel, Brother of the Struggle, and ask your friends and family to purchase it too!

( 9 ) Last, but certainly not least, contact Jason directly and ask him what you can assist him with. Presently, Jason is an indigent prisoner and needs assistance with photocopies, postage, Internet research, etc… Your support in these areas would help him tremendously!
